TUBE
STYLE BAGS
Extruded as a one piece tube; top and bottom seal.
Online
Machine Process:
Installing
handle from End of bag - we would have to open one
end of the bag, and place the handle in, then seal. Not
impossible to do, but would be a slower process and complex.
Installing handle from Side of bag - with
the machine running at normal speed, slit one side of the
"tube" bag, insert and seal handle in place, and
then re-seal side of bag. Drawback - one side of bag has
a seal down the side and the other doesn't.
Offline
Machine Process (recommended):
Either
installing handle from end or side of the bag would work
well as an offline secondary operation.
FORM,
FILL, and SEAL BAGS
Side
seal process. Provides more options for handle insertion.
Online
Machine Process:
Can
insert and seal handle in place at machine speeds.
Offline
Machine Process:
Manual
- pre-made bags can be made with "handle" pocket
for offline sealing. Slow process - for companies with small
annual volume (1MM bags and under).
Semi-automatic
- offline machine process running at 40 to 60 bags per minute.
Conveyor with two-up seal head, each at 30 bags per minute.
This option is great for customer's who do not want to dedicate
a bag line with an "online" machine.
