Design Refinement:
The design refinement phase takes the approved concept color rendering and turns it into an engineered design reality.  Industrial design 3D and 2D model files are transferred to the engineering staff who imports them into our state of the art engineering CAD software. From that point on, it’s all about attention to detail to create optimal form, fit and function. All product components are engineered as the 3D models are completed and used in an overall product assembly. This assembly is continuously analyzed for tolerance, and fit of components. Off the shelf components are also 3D modeled and incorporated as required. Design for manufacturability (DFM) is utilized throughout this phase as the engineers determine the most suitable materials, optimal manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and packaging requirements.  The culmination of this phase is with the presentation of all 3D and 2D files and drawings required to commence prototyping.
