This project involved redesign of a plastic housing for an existing retractable clothesline to meet the goals of product differentiation and uniqueness. 2N2 kept the internal mechanism and overall function the same while redesigning the external look/ aesthetics. 2N2 also added value and new functionality by incorporating hooks for a clothespin bag.  2N2 was contacted by Whitmor and was asked to make this project a priority. 2N2 responded quickly to this urgent request by having multiple concept sketches and color renderings within 7 days!
