Picture Hanger
Rick Deaton— Inventor

Rick Deaton developed and patented a simple to use tool for the ease of locating and hanging a picture. This unique and clever invention works very well for hanging pictures using "saw-tooth" style brackets. The plastic one-piece device is a positive, exact locator for the nail or screw you will use to hang your pictures. A simple two-step process is all it takes to hang a picture: Simply slide the product onto the saw-tooth bracket located on the plaque or picture frame (blunt point facing outward), and gently press the picture/ frame against the wall. The device leaves a small indentation marking the precise location for the mounting nail or screw. NO damage or disfiguring mark is left on the wall. This inventor approached 2N2 Product Development with a crude, but working multi-piece mockup. 2N2 addressed ergonomics, aesthetics, functionality, and design for manufacturability in the creation of this one-piece product.
